Put a deck, a one-pager, a press kit or a product image into a collection, make the collection public, and paste each file's link anywhere. Rename the file or move it to another collection — the link keeps working, because the link is the file's id, not its name.

Checked by content, not by name
Images, PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenDocument and zip, up to 25 MB per file. What a file IS gets read from its bytes, so a renamed executable is refused before it is ever stored.
Restricted until you say otherwise
A new collection serves nothing. Making it public is a deliberate act, and making it restricted again stops every link in it — typically within seconds, always within minutes.
Email-verified share links
Send a link that asks the recipient for their email and a one-time code before they see anything. Scoped to one collection, revocable, with an optional expiry — and view-only if you want the download button withheld.
An access log
Who opened what, when — every verified address, every file handed over, with a summary at the top. An address only counts as someone's identity once they verified it; a typed address says so.
An agreement they accept first
Put your terms in front of the files. The acceptance is recorded against the exact text they were shown, so the record still means something a year later.

Questions
What can I share today?
Collections with a permanent link per file, on every paid plan. Upload a file, make its collection public, copy the link. A public link is open to anyone who has it, and the dashboard says so next to the copy button.
Can I require an email before someone sees a document?
Yes. Create a share link on a collection and choose the email gate: the recipient enters their address and a one-time code before anything is listed. For a named audience choose invite-only: only the addresses you list can open the link, and each is emailed that they have access. Each link can expire — after a preset or at a date and time you choose, in your account's timezone — be turned off, or be view-only, and the access log records who opened what. You can also put an agreement in front of the files; the acceptance is recorded against the exact text they saw.
How much storage do I get?
Storage is included with each plan: Growth 50 GB, Business 250 GB, Video 100 GB, Enterprise unlimited. On Pay-as-you-go there is no cap: stored files draw down your credit at 0.5¢ per MB per month, and uploads pause when the credit is used up. Before the first collection, the workspace owner agrees that Files carries no malware, no content the workspace has no rights to, and nothing else the Acceptable Use Policy forbids. Deleting a file frees its space immediately, and reaching a plan's limit pauses new uploads without touching what is already there.
Can my AI agent do this?
Yes. An agent with the files scopes can list and create collections, upload a file, make a collection public, create and revoke share links (including invite-only ones), manage the invite list, publish the agreement and read the access log — publishing, sharing and inviting wait for your approval unless you granted it autonomy.
